Fighting Forward

I am 23 years old, and a Jacksonville, Florida native. I love to play guitar and piano, fishing, fixing up my house, and spending time with my wife, Amanda and my son, Brody. I like to play video games like Zelda Twilight Princess on the Wii. I also love the outdoors and riding bikes, snowboarding and skating. Some of my favorite bands to listen to are Zao, Underoath, the Almost, Saosin, Hangnail, Slickshoes, DC Talk, Audio Adrenaline, Skillet, Casting Crowns, The W's, The Insyderz, Project 86, Pillar, Disciple, Supertones, Day of Fire, Decyfer Down, and Seventh Day Slumber, just to name a few. I try to live for Christ and give Him my best everyday. I love hanging out with my friends ALL THE TIME! Laughter is the best medicine, so I like to laugh and make people laugh.

I thought I was saved when I was seven years old, but I set it in stone at a youth camp in Alabama. I knelt on my knees in the kitchen while Ninth Hour was still playing. Since then I have strived my best to live each day for Christ. I really like the quote "I may be Christian, but I'm not perfect!" God doesn't expect us to be perfect, but He does expect us to give our best. I am a member at Hillcrest Baptist Church, and I play on the stage every week in our praise band. I like to go to bed every night with no regrets, knowing that I gave God my all that day.
